Ciao! I’m Antonella, the heart and the hands behind Via del Dolce, your home for authentic Italian pastries in Oxfordshire. My love for cooking started early, growing up in Italy surrounded by the scents and rhythms of home cooking and big family meals.

I spent countless hours watching and helping my grandfather — a dedicated chef — who taught me the true meaning of artisan cooking: respect for ingredients, patience, and the joy of creating something that brings people together.

Those moments shaped my love for pastry and inspired the flavours behind Via del Dolce.

When I moved to the UK, I quickly realised how much I missed Italian traditions and food — the aroma that fills the streets when you walk past a pasticceria, the joy of buying Sunday desserts, and the authenticity of handmade Italian pastries.

Baking became my way to reconnect with those memories, and I soon discovered that many others here were longing for the same genuine Italian taste.
